As your digital life expands, so does the critical information that you need to keep secure. Anything you want to keep safe and accessible, which isn’t a traditional username or password, is perfect to add as a Secure Note in the LastPass vault.
Secure Notes enable you to keep all your (and your family’s) important documents safe with a digital copy that you always have on hand whenever you need it. Think health insurance cards, social security cards, driver’s licenses, COVID-19 vaccination cards, and more.
LastPass uses the strongest encryption available and operates on a zero-knowledge security model, which means your LastPass vault is locked with a key (master password) that is never sent to us. So all the information in your vault is secure and hidden (even from us).
Here’s just a few reasons to love Secure Notes:
- Declutter your wallet: Carrying around a physical copy of every membership card, loyalty card, and important note gets cumbersome and messy. Removing these from your wallet while still always having them securely on you in LastPass helps you declutter your wallet and better organize your life.
- Convenient organization: Add, edit, and search your Secure Notes, all from the LastPass Vault.
- Made for sharing: Give friends or family access to any Secure Note. You can share one-to-one or add it to a Shared Folder to sync with several people at once.
- Add attachments: You can save photos, PDFs, documents, and more.
- Sync anywhere: Easily access your Secure Notes from any browser, our mobiles apps, or the web vault.
- Customize: Build your own Secure Note template and add the fields you want.
