LastPass’s seamless summer continues with the arrival of a new infield save and fill experience for desktop browsers and – coming soon – a simplified autofill experience on Android devices.
The release of these feature improvements comes directly from customer feedback – you asked, and we listened. And we get it – when you’re juggling up to 50 online accounts, an effortless experience for your credentials is non-negotiable.
So, what do these improvements look like? Let’s dive in!
New infield save & fill for desktop browsers – available now!
Save and fill helps you save your login, credit card and address information to your LastPass vault so that it can be filled securely and effortlessly across devices – getting you to your digital destinations faster.
The new infield save & fill experience enables you to fill, create, and save credentials directly within a site’s form field on desktop browsers. It will directly fill from or save to your LastPass vault without ever having to open the application, streamlining and improving your overall usability of LastPass.
*Desktop browsers include Chrome and Firefox (currently available), and Safari (coming soon).
Simplified autofill on Android – coming in August!
Autofill stores and fills your logins for you, saving you time while eliminating frustrating typos that can lead to multiple login attempts (and, often, locked accounts). It also makes it easier to create complex, hard-to-crack passwords since you never have to remember or type them.
Soon, we'll be simplifying the password fill experience on the Android mobile app, streamlining your ability to autofill login credentials. While browsing on Android devices, you’ll have the option to autofill items inline from the top of your device keyboard, without having to open your LastPass vault. Using LastPass to fill credentials on your Android device will be easier than ever!
This summer, get back to what’s important in your digital life – not manually entering passwords. With all your credentials at your fingertips, whether on your desktop browser or Android device, LastPass makes security seamless.
