LastPass Recognized in 2018 Gartner Midmarket Context: Magic Quadrant for Access Management Report
Gartner recently released a new report “Midmarket Context: Magic Quadrant for Access Management, Worldwide” which we believe examines the struggles midsize enterprises (MSEs) face when looking for access management solutions to fit their needs and includes some Notable Vendors to consider. Gartner has included LastPass as a Notable Vendor in the report for the services we provide SMBs –or midsize enterprises, as Gartner refers to them– who need a way to manage employee logins and reduce IT burden. As SMBs are working to develop a mature IAM strategy, LastPass is a great place to start. It also supplements single-sign on (SSO) solutions that companies may have in place – managing the sites not covered by SSO. The report begins by examining the challenges midsize enterprise businesses – which Gartner defines as 1000 employees and below – face when looking for identity and access management solutions. As the threat level for midsize enterprises continues to rise due to increased attacks and security breaches, these businesses struggle to defend against these threats because of constrained budgets and limited staff. The report goes on to explore considerations for technology and service selection – what MSEs need to consider in order to make the correct purchasing decisions for their business. Lastly, the report examines Notable Vendors to help you with password management, single-sign on, multi-factor authentication as well as many other  functionalities.
