What is the dark web and is your personal data at risk? You may have heard this mysterious term. But if you don’t know enough about it or how to protect your information, you aren’t alone! Many individuals may not even know their information has been compromised. A recent LastPass survey* found that 91% of people in Australia have no way of knowing if their information is on the dark web. Check out our full infographic below to learn:
  • What the dark web is
  • How your peers are – or are not – protecting themselves
  • What personal information is most valuable to hackers – you might be surprised, it’s not your credit card!
  • A simple way to protect yourself that doesn’t take any work from you
Once you’ve educated yourself, it’s time to take action. LastPass customers can use the new LastPass dark web monitoring feature to stay safe online. Dark web monitoring checks if your email addresses or usernames are compromised, so you can rest assured you and your family are safe online. *Survey conducted by Lab42 in March 2020 with respondents from Australia, Brazil, Germany, United Kingdom, United States and Singapore
