RSA Sessions

We can’t forget the reason we all came to the event – to learn! There are too many sessions and keynotes to dive into on our blog, but there were a few that we thought looked intriguing to those of us interested in password management.

I Forgot Your Password: Breaking Modern Password Recovery Systems
When: Thursday, April 19 1:45pm-2:30pm

This session looks at the vulnerabilities in password recovery systems. We always say that it’s essential to protect your email with a password manager and two-factor authentication – because often access to your email allows hackers to reset many other passwords. We’re interested to see what advice the experts have.

Passwords and Fingerprints and Faces—Oh My! Comparing Old and New Authentication
When: Tuesday, April 17 3:30pm-4:15pm

This session looks at the acceptance of biometrics and assesses the security of these methods. For those of you interested in passwords, do you think biometrics are as secure as passwords? Let us know in the comments and come back and tell us if the session changed your mind.

We can’t wait to see you there! Let us know in the comments below if you have any questions about any of our events.
