Are you a UI/UX graphic designer? We're hiring!

We're looking for a talented UI/UX graphic designer to join our team!

About the job:
  • Improve the look, the feel, and the UX of LastPass & Xmarks, from both the web and within the products themselves
  • Provide graphic assets for marketing programs and other user-facing initiatives
  • Take ownership and responsibility of the product and the brand
  • Work across disciplines with team members, including product, sales, marketing, and support

About you:
  • At least 1-2 years of professional design experience
  • Highly proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks
  • Experience with rapid prototyping tools, wireframing
  • A strong portfolio showcasing design for various form factors and devices
  • Passion for clean design and highly usable interfaces
  • Establish consistent interactions and appearances across all web and mobile products
  • UX training preferred
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS a plus
  • Proficiency with Prototyper, Omnigraffle, etc a plus
  • Proximity to Fairfax, VA (in the DC / DMV area) preferred

  • You love LastPass and/or Xmarks
  • You like Chipotle.

  3. I hope you guys find someone who can also work quickly.. the only thing i dont like about lastpass is the UI which just looks old and worn.

  4. I hope you can find someone, too (or have already found someone). I use LastPass and XMarks because of the awesome features, but the UX is the main reason I haven't pushed it much on my less techy friends. It's just not quite polished enough. I have faith in y'all, though!

  5. I think LastPass is the worst interface I have ever seen. Please, please, please make it at least tolerable. It's so painful to use. Legitimacy of the product is lost because of the atrocity that is the UI.

  6. Yes! And please invest in a thorough usability review.

    The Chrome extension is a pain to use, and I only endure it because I couldn't live without it. But I can't make myself recommend it to anyone less technically inclined than I am (I'm a web developer). No matter how much it hurts to see the horrible password habits of friends and family, I know from experience that introducing them to LastPass won't work. And that's only because of its (sorry) horrible interface.

    I'm looking forward to the day when my 57 years old parents can use LastPass, instead of the same password all over the place (including a post-it note next to their computer).
