After logging in to the LastPass app, you'll see an updated vault view. Although similar to previous versions with your sites listed by Groups, you'll now see an "Edit" link next to each site entry. Tapping "Edit" allows you to view, update, or copy-paste from the site entry:
If you tap the ellipsis (three dots) from the main vault view, you'll also notice an updated menu. "Add Secure Note" and "Add Site" are now listed as options, allowing you to add new data to your account:
Best,
The LastPass Team
Will this option be added to the Android OS?
ReplyDeleteUse LastPass all the time on the desktop and love it. Never going to use the WP7 version until it's completely free to use like the desktop version, and until it can be used with the standard browser that came with the phone.
ReplyDeletethat never be free version for WP7 because Lastpass only gain profit from it .
DeleteYou’ll never pay for Last Pass? Do you work for free? Come on, the Last Pass developers do a great job and deserve to get paid.
Delete@ocdgeek Well said.
DeleteI will never understand people that always expect something for free. Hey Last Pass, charge twice as much and I'll still buy it! One of the best tools out there.
DeleteI don't mind paying for excellent software. OK with me if LastPass gets rid of the free edition, but I'll leave that to them.
Delete@Anonymous1 -- This is already available on Android today.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this great update, keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to future WP7 updates, this is one of my favorite apps!
ReplyDeleteIs it possible to put the update info in the description of the app? There have been a couple of updates since November that I'm guessing were bug fixes, but it would be nice to be sure.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the WP7 update!
ReplyDeleteI've already been using Lastpass *free* in Chrome for more than a year and now that I have a WP7 I am more than happy to pay ($12 p/year! peanuts :-) ) for it and support its development.
Last pass is amazing and worth a dollar a month. I am really happy to support people who create awesome products. Keep the updates comming.
ReplyDelete"Tapping "Edit" allows you to view, update, or copy-paste from the site entry"
ReplyDeleteI can copy login or adress, but I can't copy the most important - password. So, what's the point?
After clicking edit, you can click the three dots, then click show password. Then you can copy your password.
DeleteWhy do I have to click edit, then the three dots, show password, then highlight the box to copy it...
ReplyDeleteCan't this be done with a drop-down menu when tapping on the entry?
Also, why can't I have my Favorites right at the top??
This. It feels unnecessarily clunky right now to get a password onto the clipboard. The Android client allows getting a password onto the clipboard through a long press, and that behavior makes a lot of sense.
DeleteThanks for the feedback, guys, we'll look at these and other improvements to the app.
DeleteI pay for this, and do so gladly. However, I'd like to see it integrate with WP7's IE mobile browser. The LP browser has one behaviour that I loathe - pressing the 'back' button even once takes me completely out of the browser app and back into the LP site chooser. I can't go to the previous viewed page, in other words.
ReplyDeleteWe're restricted by the mobile platform, but we will look at integration if it's possible in the future. Bookmarklets are currently the only way to integrate directly with the default browser (http://helpdesk.lastpass.com/bookmarklets/).
DeletePLEASE do something to reset the "Trial-Period" indicator on a device when there is a new version. From what I can tell, updates have been made that could make me want to purchase the new WP7 app, but now I can't even try it because it tells me that my trial-period has expired. Can you do something about this???
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestion, I'll pass it to the developers.
DeleteNo issues paying for a secure and robust product. Lastpass rocks
ReplyDeleteI was about to buy Lastpass but then stopped, it just simply doesn't work with windows phone browser (IE), but instead its own browser.
ReplyDeleteI wrote to them why this is so, they replied saying that OS does not allow them. I will ask lastpass team to look over it again, there are other apps which are doing the job nicely. So give your heartfull attempt.
