Now that extension support has been added with Opera 11, we're excited to announce that we have a plugin for Opera!
Given that Opera 11 is still in Beta there may be a few kinks for them to work out, but the plugin has the same functionality as the other browser add-ons. Now you can easily access all of your favorite sites and other stored data!
Thanks! :)

ReplyDeleteIn next step, can lastpass update info from the existing wand.dat. In fact I have using Opera for as long as I remember, since ver 3, and lot many passwords are stored in my wand.dat file.
ReplyDeleteIf lastpass could update its database from wand.dat, it would be simply incredible!

ReplyDeleteAny news on Wand pass importing?
ReplyDeleteOur universal windows installer should import from wand now:
ReplyDeletehttps://lastpass.com/download
Bob,
ReplyDeleteI downloaded and installed the windows installer, but it only offers me to install the extension and import from firefox ie and chrome.
Opera/Wand importing is never mentioned.
Never mind, got a workaround for importing opera wand passwords into lastpass/firefox:
ReplyDelete1. Download OperaPassView from Google
2. Open the wand file in Opera\Profile
3. Select All, Save as Comma Delimited Text File .csv
4. Open File in Excel
5. Right click in the first column, click Add Line
6. Enter: "url,username,password,extra,name,grouping,fav"
7. In LastPass, Go To Tools -> Import from csv
Hope that helps!
I've been enjoying this for a couple of months now. Latest Opera on Win7 x64. But functionality is greatly reduced in the menu and especially keyboard areas. LP in Chrome has working hotkeys, and in IE has much hotter menus. Maybe this is a weakness of the Opera API? IAC, LP is a much welcome addition to Opera. Thanks.
